I’m deeply saddened by the loss of our Director of Markham-Unionville Federal Liberal Association (M-UFLA) and our Markham-Unionville Community Leader, Mr. Alick Siu.

I met Alick at the Chinese Canadian Information Processing Society in the 90’s. We were both newly immigrated young IT professionals with passion for community services. We worked actively in organizing various IT Conferences, Toastmaster Meetings, community events and recently, on the Team Paul Chiang Campaign.

Alick lived a full life as a loving husband, a caring father, a seasoned IT professional, a community leader, a model resident of Markham-Unionville. He inspires me to pay it forward to make our society a better place.
